    Cold-Pressed vs. Chemically Processed

Bioavailability is science-talk for how much of a compound makes its way into the bloodstream. When you take CBD, a significant percentage is lost through the digestive process and by various enzymes that break it down before it reaches the bloodstream. The bioavailability of CBD is estimated to be about 20%. This means that only 20% of how much CBD you took will actually make its way to your bloodstream. CBDA is different.
